A handmade glass heart is a thank-you gift that suits a heart surgeon, cardiologist or visiting speaker: symbolic without being a cliché, ready to display, and one of a kind. Each fused glass heart is kiln-formed by hand in Florida by Nataly Biskay, hand-signed with a certificate of authenticity, and comes with a clear or black stand. Hearts are about 10 inches tall, and about 12 inches on the stand.
Many patients and families choose a glass heart because it says what a card cannot. It is a lasting piece for an office or home, not a gift that gets used up, and no two are alike. Hearts from this studio have been given as thank-you gifts to heart surgeons and cardiologists.
A guest speaker gift should be memorable, easy to carry and personal without being over the top. A glass heart fits. Hearts from this studio have been given as thank-you gifts to visiting professors at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco). A heart in the school's colors is a thoughtful touch for a department, a conference organizer or a host.

Choose your colors and I will make a heart just for the occasion, including school or hospital colors. A custom heart is $325 total, including a clear or black stand and standard shipping. A $150 deposit reserves your spot, and the $175 balance is due at time of shipping. Pink, purple or red glass, dichroic glass, lettering and patterns are quoted separately.
Custom hearts are made in the studio during three windows each year: late November to early January, mid-March to mid-May, and June to July, and only 10 are made per round. Give yourself plenty of time before the event, and reserve early.
