Our celestial fused glass heart sculptures are one of a kind and completely handmade in California. This heart is made by a process of dripping melted glass over metal rods then boiling the glass to 1700 degrees Fahrenheit, then cooling it down to a solid, polished finish. After removed from the kiln each heart is cold worked with diamond disks to give the edges a finished uniform edge and then return to the kiln for a final fire polish. Each heart fires for at-least a total of 30 hours.
Each heart is handcrafted to generate an organic design that cannot be replicated. Like our own hearts, they are one of a kind.
This large sized "Aurora Borealis" heart is composed of pastel toned opaque glass including lavender & green with cream accents and black detail created by the organic reactions of one glass to another.
Every custom designed piece can be accompanied by a custom made clear acrylic stand or black acrylic stand.
Each piece is signed by the artist & a certificate of authenticity is included.
